Get Involved

Help a grieving child learn, connect, share & grow

Bridges of Hope envisions a community of grief support, where no individual is left to grieve alone. There are a variety of ways that you can get involved to help us further our mission. From becoming a school partner who hosts a Sand Dollar Club, to volunteering as a Buddy at camp, or perhaps sponsoring a child to attend a Community Ritual, there are many opportunities for you to get engaged.

Become a Partner

Becoming a Bridges of Hope Partner is easy to do, and allows us to join together to serve more children and teens in our  community. Do you work for a school district or another agency that interfaces with children and teens? Our valued partners work hand in hand with us to make referrals throughout the year and co-host programs.

Schools

If you are a counselor, teacher, or school administrator, you can easily make referrals anytime throughout the year for children or teens who are grieving a death. Being a partner is a convenient way to receive Bridges updates, be the first to pilot new innovatives, receive training for your staff (link to our offerings), and host a Sand Dollar Club at your school.  We can either provide training to you to facilitate the group, or we can provide a facilitator. See more information about our Sand Dollar Club here.

Youth Serving Organizations

If you work for a social service agency or youth serving organization, we would love to explore ways to partner with you. Being a partner is a convenient way to receive Bridges updates, be the first to pilot new innovatives, receive training for your staff, or host a Sand Dollar Club at your organization.  Partnerships can look different depending on your specific needs, reach out to us if you are interested in exploring a program partnership further.

Corporation or Civic Organization

If you are a corporation or a civic organization and have made it part of your mission to give back, to enrich and nourish lives in the local communities in which we live & work, we may be a  perfect fit for an ongoing partnership. We have partnerships with civic engagement groups & corporations and work together in various ways to make a difference in the communities we share.

“Just wanted to say thank you again for putting your time and energy into supporting our students at Zucker.  It means a lot.  We are fortunate to have community support from organizations like Bridges and local professionals who are invested in our community.  Thank you.”
