DESCRIPTION:November is Children’s Grief Awareness Month\, a time to recognize the importance of supporting children who have experienced the death of someone significant in their lives. At Bridges of Hope\, we invite your school to participate in a special Lunch-Time Luminary Event\, giving students the opportunity to honor loved ones and reflect in a safe\, supportive space. \nDuring this event\, students will: \n\nDecorate a luminary bag using provided materials\nLight a candle inside the bag as a tribute to someone they’ve lost\nExperience connection and reflection with classmates\n\nWe provide everything you need: \n\nWhite luminary bags\nTea lights (battery-operated for safety)\nColoring utensils\nA volunteer facilitator to support students during lunch\n\nThis activity can be offered to all students\, whether your school has a Sand Dollar Club or not. SUMMARY:Hope\, Hooves & Healing 4-Part Series (Week 4)
DESCRIPTION:Hope\, Hooves & Healing is a four-part therapeutic series held on Tuesday evenings for children ages 8 and older who are grieving the death of someone important. Through guided activities\, time at the farm\, and connection with animals\, children are given space to express feelings\, build coping skills\, and experience healing in a supportive and nurturing environment. Sessions will take place on October 13th\, 20th\, 27th\, and November 3rd from 6:00pm–8:00pm at the farm. Space is limited for this offering.
